About Biju
I have a Ph.D. in Biotechnology With 4+ years of postdoctoral experience in Biotechnology, virology. Qualified UGC-CSIR NET-JRF exam (National eligibility exam conducted for the appointment for Lecture in India,) several times
I have sound knowledge of the biological science subject as well as experience of how to teach students in a way which is easy to understand.
I am available for teaching Biology (for 11 th and 12th class students) and Biotechnology, Molecular biology, Genetic engineering, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics research-oriented projects for undergraduate, Graduate, Post Graduate, Ph.D. students.

Designing projects and troubleshooting of experiments like cloning, generation of mutants, Protein expression and purification, antibody production and purification, protein and enzyme engineering, Nucleic acid- Protein interaction in vitro and ex-vivo, Biochemical assays (ATPase, Helicase assays etc) in silico recombination detection, Primer designing ( genus, species,serotype-specific design), DGGE, genomics and proteomics data analysis, All types of blotting techniques and other research in basic and medical science research. Participating in discussions with researchers and scientists regarding their project bottlenecks and help to design/planning the NGS projects which include, Whole Genome sequencing, Metagenomes, Meta-Transcriptomes, RNASeq, small RNA-Seq, lncRNA-Seq, Methylomes, Amplicon sequencing, and ChIP-Seq and RIP-Seq, Sanger Sequencing.
Genomics: Assembly of Genomes, Annotation of genes, ORF prediction, analysis of Transcriptome and Metagenomes (Whole metagenome and Amplicon-16S rDNA), Taxonomy, Phylogenomics, and Pangenome analysis.
Analysis of Sequencing Data
Expert in other Bioinformatics tools: FastQC, QIIME, Trimmomatic, CLC-bio workbench, DNA STAR, MEGAN, MG-RAST, Prokka, SOAPdenovo, SPAdes, Contiguator, Cellera Assembler, Canu, HGAP and other related tools.
