About Vasudevan
I completed my PhD in Bioengineering in 2021. Biology is something I always think about in depth. I love questioning why things work the way they do and I've spent a lot of time conducting experiments to answer those questions. I take it seriously when a student is relying on me to help them understand something or prepare for an exam. I've mentored junior researchers before and I've always ensured I'm approachable. If something isn't clicking, that's on me to explain differently, not on you to just get it faster.

I teach biology the way I wish someone had taught me. Before we get into memorizing terms, we spend time figuring out why things actually work, because that's what makes it stick. I wasn't a naturally gifted student myself, so I've had to find ways to make hard concepts click, and that's exactly what I bring to lessons. We usually start with a real question or example, break it down together, then tie it back to whatever you're working on in class or studying for an exam. I work with both high school and undergrad students, and I adjust depending on where you're at and what you need.
