About Jenny
Hello, 你好！I'm Jenny, a native Mandarin speaker from Shanghai, China. I have PhD degree in medication. Since moving to New Zealand in 2014, I have taught my children and other students the Chinese language for more than 8 years. I'm passionate about teaching, sharing experiences, and cultural exchange.
I will first understand each student’s needs, assess their language level to make individual training plans, and adjust content as they progress, just like the Chinese saying” 因材施教 teaching students on their aptitude” If you are interested in the Chinese language, I can help your Mandarin speaking, writing, listening, and reading. During the tutoring, I will include Chinese culture, history, geography, customs, etc., to let you know more about China.
