About Mikayla
Hi there! I'm Mikayla - I hope to help support vet and medical school applicants in CASPer test-taking and achieving a 4th quartile distinction. With over six years of experience in education, outreach, and mentorship through my non-profit work and student programming, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students of different ages and backgrounds. I have led educational workshops for elementary and high school students, supported students through experiential learning programs, and developed lesson plans that make complex topics easier to understand. I hope to do the same for university students!

My methodology combines guided practice, discussion-based learning, timed practice scenarios, and individualized feedback for support in CASPer test preparation.
As someone who has personally navigated competitive university and professional-school admissions, I understand how overwhelming the process can feel. I especially enjoy helping students prepare for the CASPer test by building their confidence, strengthening their critical-thinking and communication skills, and developing strategies for approaching unfamiliar scenarios under time pressure.
