About Zafna
Hi there! I am a pharmacy student with a strong academic background in biology and a clear understanding of how students struggle with concepts at the O Level stage. I completed my Cambridge O Levels in 2021, which allows me to guide students with practical insight into the syllabus, exam style, and common challenges they face. My own studies have trained me to approach biology logically, focusing on understanding and connections rather than memorization. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. I teach Cambridge O Level Biology (5090) with a structured, concept-focused approach designed to build strong foundations and long-term understanding. Each chapter is completed thoroughly before moving on, followed by regular practice using both written questions and MCQs, mainly from past papers. This ensures students learn how concepts are tested, not just memorized. After completing half of the syllabus, I conduct an assessment covering those chapters to track progress and identify weak areas, then continue with the remaining syllabus in the same organized manner. I strictly follow the Cambridge 5090 specification so that no syllabus content is missed. I am very flexible and student-focused in my teaching, and I willingly revisit any topic whenever extra help is needed, especially for school mocks or exams, and provide additional targeted practice to strengthen confidence and performance.
