About Shan
I've given English lesson to young children at the age of 4 and 5 in Japan for 5 months. I've also volunteered as mentor at the University during my BSc Pharmacology for a year. Although I could not provide much help in writing lab report except giving them directions, most people I've taught during the mentor program have achieved from 60% to above 70%.
I always make sure that they understand the topic instead of copying answers and the writing.

I'm doing my MSc Medical Biotechnology in the University of Portsmouth at the moment, and would love to give Science lessons (molecular biology, organic chemistry, or others) to secondary school students and undergraduate students. I am more of an "understand" than "memorizing" person and would love to make the process of learning enjoyable, and leaves the exam techniques until when needed.
Exams are here to test your knowledge and should be fun to challenge. I want my student to go to the exam room with excitement and leave with a smile.
