About Chloe

I am a passionate English teacher, a parent of three children, and someone who truly understands how people learn at different stages of life. My patience, creativity, and ability to adapt are skills that sit at the heart of my teaching philosophy.

I used to live in France, where I taught English in French primary schools, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a love of language. I am currently studying for a PGCE Primary qualification, which is further strengthening my classroom practice, subject knowledge, and understanding of how children learn.
Alongside this, I teach adults online, supporting learners with job interviews, exams, application forms, and conversational English for real-life situations.

I especially enjoy helping adults gain the confidence they need to communicate clearly and achieve their personal or professional goals.
My love for teaching is closely tied to my love of learning and connection. I enjoy travelling, hiking, swimming, Pilates, and movies, and I bring this curiosity about the world into my lessons, making them practical, engaging, and relevant. I believe English should feel accessible, empowering, and useful—not intimidating.

Teaching allows me to combine structure with creativity, empathy with expertise, and to make a genuine difference in people’s lives. That’s why I do what I do.

I’m a qualified English Literature graduate with international experience teaching English in France, currently completing a PGCE in Primary School Teaching.

I have extensive experience supporting SEND pupils, tailoring lessons to individual needs and learning styles so every student can thrive. My sessions are engaging, structured, and confidence-boosting—whether your child needs help with reading, writing, grammar, or spoken English.
