About Helena
When teaching secondary students, one of the things that was most important to me was getting to know my students in order to provide them with the passion for humanities that I possess. Each lesson was designed so that students would be engaged and interested and not staring out of the window waiting for the bell to ring.
Previous homework I set included: baking cakes, making posters or leaflets, making a costume, or performing a song.

Lessons are individually developed to suit student needs and requirements - there is no focus on essay or long-form writing and opportunity for lessons to be altered for different learning needs as goal of lessons is to develop passion for subject or provide additional knowledge on a topic.
Lessons can last up to 1 hour as needed.
Lessons are based on UK-curriculum for humanities as I previously taught at secondary level.
