About the lesson

I am a PGCE and NQT qualified former secondary school teacher with over four years of both classroom and tutoring experience. After graduating with 1st Class Honours in Business Management I initially worked as an English teacher for EF English First in China before moving back to the UK and gaining a place on the prestigious Teach First Graduate Scheme, where I taught both Economics and Business Studies at the Key Stage 4 and 5 level.

In China I frequently taught one-to-one or small classes of students. In the UK I have taken classes of students through their Business Studies and Economics exams with all of the major exam boards. Through my years of experience in the classroom I have developed a wide range of teaching techniques, resources and activities aimed at motivating students and pushing them to achieve their full potential. I have since adapted these resources to make them more applicable to tutoring, which I have now been doing for a number of years.
