About Maria
I was born in Argentina and have been teaching since 2006, working with students across a variety of science courses. I studied Biochemistry and I got my PhD in Biological Science. I always was curious and over the years, I developed a special passion for Biology, Cell Biology, and Molecular Biology, and I truly enjoy helping students understand the fascinating mechanisms of life—from cells and DNA to genetics, health, and disease—in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way.
Teaching is my passion, and I genuinely have fun during class. I believe learning works best when lessons are interactive, enjoyable, and connected to real life, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students can master challenging concepts while developing curiosity and critical thinking.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing aerial arts/skills, which challenge both strength and creativity, and I love going to the theater. I believe curiosity, discipline, and enjoyment are important parts of both learning and life.
