About Shiva
I have a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science and over five years of experience in education across both K-12 and higher education. I provide personalized support in reading comprehension, English writing, spelling and grammar, essay development, and resume writing. I also help students develop effective study habits, improve organization and time management, and create personalized study strategies aligned with their individual learning styles and academic goals. My goal is to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and succeed academically and professionally.

I believe in the value of traditional, hands on learning. While technology can be a helpful resource, I do not rely on AI to teach, write, or complete work for my students. My tutoring focuses on genuine learning through conversation, reading, writing, practice, and feedback. I believe there is something valuable about slowing down, putting pen to paper, working through challenges, and developing skills through practice.
I can provide lessons for every grade k-12 as well as university students. I can also provide ESL tutoring.
