About Sriyan
When you learn with me, you are learning from an instructor with more than two decades of Salsa On1 teaching experience, gained across Dubai, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the UK.
I am a certified instructor through Salsa Dance Squad, Amsterdam, and I teach Salsa On1, Bachata, and Merengue.
My professional background as a banker has also shaped the way I teach. I bring discipline, preparation, structure, attention to detail, communication, and a strong commitment to helping people develop.
Most importantly, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I assess each student's experience, natural movement, confidence, musicality, learning pace, and goals, then adapt my teaching accordingly. I will also guide you toward the dance style and approach that best suits you.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, you can expect professional instruction, patience, respect, personalized coaching, and a positive learning environment.
My goal is not simply to teach you steps. It is to help you understand the dance, feel the music, build confidence, connect with your partner, and genuinely enjoy dancing.

I have been dancing and teaching Salsa On1 for more than 20 years, with teaching experience across Dubai, Singapore, the Netherlands, and the UK. I am a certified instructor through Salsa Dance Squad, Amsterdam, specializing in Salsa On1, Bachata, and Merengue.
My approach is simple: every student is different, so every student deserves a different approach. I personalize my teaching based on individual ability, learning pace, confidence, musicality, body movement, and goals—and help students discover the dance style that naturally suits them.
Whether you're taking your first steps or looking to refine your technique, my goal is to make learning fun, social, confidence-building, and genuinely enjoyable.
