About Kamo

Sanibonani!, My name is Kamo.
I’m a young, passionate, and talented IsiZulu teacher, born a native Zulu speaker, with a mission to share the beauty and practicality of my language. From a young age, I excelled in IsiZulu at school and discovered a natural love for teaching—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and do well. In 2019, I completed an online course in guided teaching structure, which helped me refine my teaching methods. I became an online assistant in IsiZulu teaching groups and began teaching independently at the age of 17. Since then, I’ve developed my own personalized curriculum, blending all levels of the CAPS curriculum with my deep, natural knowledge of IsiZulu. I teach all levels, from children to adults, using music, rhymes, interactive exercises, and unique memorization techniques to make learning fun, engaging, and effective. Additionally, I specialize in Business IsiZulu, helping professionals and entrepreneurs communicate confidently, understand cultural norms, and excel in workplace interactions. I also run side projects for students interested in extra practice, cultural insights, and advanced learning opportunities, ensuring everyone can grow their IsiZulu skills at their own pace. My goal is to make learning IsiZulu accessible, practical, and enjoyable, whether it’s for school, work, or personal growth.

About the lesson

I offer IsiZulu lessons for kids, adults, and business professionals, combining structured learning, culture, music, and practical conversation. Students progress from beginner to advanced in two months, with personalized modules, included materials such as extra IsiZulu books with Audio-books to improve accuracy in pronunciation, and at the end of our course I offer, free final conversational practice ensuring that learners become comfortable in holding conversations.
