About Mia
I am a Registered Nurse with several years of critical care experience, including Medical/Neuro ICU and Cardiovascular ICU. Throughout my nursing career, I have developed a strong passion for helping nursing students and new graduate nurses build confidence and strengthen their clinical judgment. I especially enjoy helping new nurses prepare for the transition into the ICU and understand how classroom concepts translate to real bedside situations. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where students can ask questions, strengthen their knowledge, and become more confident nurses.

My tutoring focuses on helping nursing students and new graduate nurses build confidence, strengthen clinical judgment, and feel prepared for the next step in their nursing career. I specialize in new graduate transition to the ICU, test-taking strategies, and NCLEX preparedness.
For new nurses entering critical care, I provide practical ICU preparation covering patient assessment, prioritization, ABGs, hemodynamics, ventilator basics, vasoactive medications, cardiac rhythms, and recognizing changes in patient condition. I use realistic clinical scenarios to connect textbook knowledge with bedside nursing.
For nursing students and NCLEX candidates, I focus on practice questions, understanding rationales, identifying key information in questions, prioritization strategies, and developing stronger test-taking skills. Each lesson is personalized to the student’s experience level, learning style, and individual goals
