About Samuel
Hello, nice to meet you — I’m Sam.
I’m a psychology tutor based in Portsmouth, UK.
After completing my BPS-accredited Counselling Psychology degree with first-class honours last year, I was inspired to begin tutoring psychology students. Throughout my studies, I was often the person classmates turned to for help locating key textbook chapters, using academic resources effectively, and running statistical tests using SPSS, JASP, or R.
My degree covered all the core areas found in BPS psychology programmes, including biological, cognitive, and developmental psychology. I’m now studying for an MSc in Coaching Psychology and also work as a practising coach — bringing a unique blend of psychology, coaching, and counselling skills into each tutoring session.
