¡Hola! I’m a friendly and approachable New Zealand native based in Dunedin. After spending time living in Spain, I developed a real passion for the language and culture, which I now love sharing through personalized Spanish lessons. I teach learners of all levels—whether you’re just starting out, brushing up before a trip, or preparing for NCEA or university study. I focus on clear explanations, engaging practice, and helping you build real confidence in your speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Every lesson is tailored to your needs—from casual conversation to structured grammar. Whether you're a student, traveler, or adult learner, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you move forward at your pace.

5+ years of teaching both Spanish and English have taught me that speaking based lessons yield the best results. I aim to get students speaking as much as possible, always taking note of common mistakes, and coming back to these afterwards to avoid interrupting and stopping the flow of conversation. This style of teaching allows me to easily adjust subject matter to suit specific goals and skill levels.
That being said, conversational lessons are most suited to my students with goals of travel, business, and improved cultural understanding. Other students, who are working towards school and university exams typically need a balance with increased focus on the theory needed to ensure excellent results.
