About Viva

Hello! I’m a singer, composer, and music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from Royal Holloway, University of London and a Bachelor’s degree from Middlesex University.

Alongside performing and composing, I have worked professionally for over five years as a sheet music editor and transcriber within the classical music world. My compositions have been performed by ensembles including the Allegri String Quartet and the London Firebird Orchestra.

With over six years of teaching experience, I have taught more than 100 students across Bachelor’s and Master’s level study with a focus on building strong musical understanding, confidence, and long-term creativity in a supportive and approachable environment.

Two Learning Pathways

You can choose the approach that suits you best:

- Practical Non-Notation Approach — Perfect for learners who want to understand theory through listening, keyboard demonstrations, and real musical examples without needing to read sheet music.

Topics Covered

- Intervals
- Chords and chord progressions
- Harmony and voice leading
- Rhythm and meter
- Ear training
- Song analysis

- Exam Preparation (If applicable)

I am happy to prepare students for formal music theory examinations, with structured lessons, worksheets, and guided practice if requested.

Teaching Style

Each lesson is taught one-to-one and tailored to your goals, pace, and musical interests. My aim is to make music theory practical, intuitive, and enjoyable rather than confusing or overly academic.

Suitable for ages 15+ and all levels.

Book a trial lesson and discover how understanding music theory can transform the way you listen, perform, compose, and create.
