About Lois
Currently studying a degree within the performing arts, I am passionate about all things creative. I am passionate about using my creative abilities to find interesting ways to help my students learn. Not everyone will learn by writing out notes, and that’s ok! I thrive in helping my students to understand topics using innovative lessons, allowing for greater retention of material. I take pride in my quality of teaching and I really enjoy delivering the subject I am passionate about to students who are willing to engage and learn. My favourite thing about teaching is seeing my students’ success, watching their confidence grow as they build in self-belief.

My lessons are fully catered towards the student and their goals. Highly interactive and personalised, I aim to understand my students’ preferred ways of learning so that I can deliver the material in a way that will benefit their learning. I am a tenacious individual, full of innovative and creative ideas, who enjoys seeing my students succeed.
Lessons are an hour long, and will often involve drawing on the whiteboard, using texts from popular literature, and (depending on the level of study) exam paper practice.
I am in my third year of university, and I have 4 years of online tutoring experience, having seen several GCSE and A Level students to success. I have an A Level in English Language and Literature, and use my current degree in drama to supplement my knowledge in literature.
