About Natalie

Hello! I’m Natalie Brooks, and I love helping students realize how rewarding guitar learning becomes when lessons combine practical skill-building with mentorship, encouragement, and long-term improvement strategies. With 7 years of experience teaching guitar to beginner and intermediate students, I focus on helping learners improve technical confidence while building creativity, discipline, and stage presence. I completed my education at University of Colorado Boulder, where I specialized in contemporary guitar performance and music studies. My teaching style is energetic, supportive, and mentorship-focused so students feel comfortable improving step by step while developing real musical confidence. I received the Infinite Strings Growth Medal and the Electric Horizon Mentor Trophy for helping students strengthen guitar confidence and creative growth through supportive coaching systems. Outside teaching, I enjoy recording acoustic covers, practicing fingerstyle arrangements, exploring indie music culture, and mentoring students interested in creative performance development.

About the lesson

Welcome to a practical one-to-one live guitar learning experience where students improve technical confidence and musical creativity through supportive coaching and structured learning systems. My guitar lessons are designed to help students strengthen rhythm precision, improvisation confidence, stage presence, and musical expression while also developing long-term playing habits that support future growth. I focus on helping students understand how real guitar techniques are used in practice, performance, and creative music-making so they can grow naturally and confidently. I will help you understand the topic you have been having trouble with through rhythm-flow systems, live jam activities, improvisation exercises, and guided guitar practice.

Students learn acoustic and electric guitar while practicing fingerstyle methods, rhythm patterns, riffs, chord transitions, solos, tone-building systems, lead guitar concepts, and performance preparation across indie, acoustic-pop, blues, and rock styles. I also provide structured practice routines, creativity-focused jam workshops, performance confidence strategies, and long-term growth guidance that help students improve consistently and enjoy the learning process more deeply. Feel free to share your topic before class, and I will design the lesson specially for you according to your guitar goals and favorite songs.
