About Yemi
I am a Performing Artist and I have been teaching music for more than ten years both at Primary and Secondary school levels. I am passionate about music theory, sight-reading, piano playing, songwriting and performance. I have taught more than 200 students in the formal school environment as well as in a private teaching environment.

My teaching method is the Student-Centred Method. What I mean is that as the teacher I serve as the facilitator. It is a method by which I, as the teacher finds out what the students know and after that, what they want to know. It is from this standpoint that I commence my teaching, helping the students to better understand the subject by filling the gaps, wherever the students are inadequate.
