About Martina
With 15 years of experience as a violin tutor, I have taught students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I believe every student is unique, and my teaching philosophy focuses on adapting lessons to individual strengths, challenges, and goals.
I guide students in technical mastery, music reading, sight-reading, and expressive playing while preparing them for recitals, competitions, and concerts. Over 200 students have benefited from my guidance, achieving success and confidence on stage. My approach balances structured practice with creative exercises, making lessons both motivating and effective.

My teaching methodology is built on compassion, clear communication, and supportiveness. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and encouraged to explore the violin. Each student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to their individual pace, style, and goals, ensuring every session is both engaging and productive.
I provide step-by-step instructions, demonstrations, and interactive exercises, breaking down complex techniques and musical concepts into manageable steps. Students are encouraged to ask questions, experiment creatively, and actively participate, fostering both technical skills and musical expression.
Being supportive is central to my approach. I celebrate progress, provide constructive guidance, and guide students through challenges with patience and encouragement. Lessons balance technical practice, creative exploration, and personal growth, helping students become confident, independent, and expressive musicians.
In addition to violin, I teach other subjects using the same compassionate, communicative approach, inspiring curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
