About Kahina
With 11 years of teaching and professional experience, I am a committed Piano tutor who loves helping students discover the joy of music. I teach piano to school and college students, focusing on both technical development and personal growth.
My passion for education has guided my entire career. One important milestone was when I began creating customised lesson plans for each student, based on their goals and learning pace. This approach helped many students improve faster and enjoy their lessons more.
I believe that learning piano should be simple, structured, and inspiring. My lessons cover essential skills such as hand technique, sight-reading, rhythm, and basic music theory. I also encourage students to explore different styles of music to keep learning exciting.
I take pride in supporting students as they move from beginner levels to confident players. Many of my students have successfully performed in school programmes or continued piano alongside their academic studies.
My teaching style is supportive and patient. I believe mistakes are part of learning and help students learn from them without pressure. I maintain a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated.

I believe learning piano should be an enjoyable and meaningful experience. My teaching focuses on clear communication to help students understand music theory, piano techniques, and rhythm in a simple way. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s unique learning style, whether they learn better through listening, visual aids, or hands-on practice.
I often use real-life examples and case studies, such as analysing songs they love or demonstrating how music works in movies and everyday life, to make concepts easy to understand and relevant.
In addition to piano, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and basic composition, so students gain a well-rounded understanding of music. My approach balances technical skill development with creative expression, helping students build confidence, improve performance, and enjoy every step of their musical journey.
