About Vini
I am a passionate violin tutor with 6 years of teaching and professional music experience, dedicated to helping students develop technical skill, creativity, and confidence. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning foundational techniques to advanced learners preparing for recitals, competitions, and exams.
One of the most fulfilling milestones in my career has been witnessing students transform from hesitant beginners into confident performers capable of playing with expression, emotion, and technical precision.
My teaching emphasises the development of strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also nurturing musical creativity, interpretation, and expression. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of music.
I personalise lessons to fit each student’s pace, learning style, and goals, creating a patient, supportive, and inspiring environment. Teaching violin allows me to instil confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music in every student.

I teach violin with a methodology grounded in motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, aiming to develop skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are customised to the student’s abilities, learning style, and goals, blending technical exercises with creative projects, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation is central. I help students define realistic goals, track progress, and celebrate achievements, building perseverance, engagement, and self-confidence. Communication fosters a collaborative and interactive environment, allowing students to express challenges, ask questions, and share ideas freely.
Creativity is woven into every lesson. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises help students develop a personal artistic voice while connecting emotionally with the music. Integrity emphasises disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, forming habits that support long-term growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, providing a complete musical education. My methodology ensures students grow technically, creatively, emotionally, and personally, while developing a lifelong love for music.
