About Kennedy
With 9 years of experience in guitar teaching and performance, I am passionate about mentoring students to reach their full musical potential. I teach school and college students and customise my lessons according to each learner’s pace and goals.
One of my proudest achievements has been helping students overcome hesitation and confidently participate in cultural programmes and competitions. I emphasise rhythm development, chord clarity, scale practice, finger coordination, and expressive playing. I believe music education not only improves technical skills but also strengthens patience, focus, and emotional confidence.
My teaching approach combines structured learning with positive encouragement, ensuring measurable progress in every class. I create a supportive and disciplined environment where students feel comfortable exploring new musical ideas. My goal is to shape well-rounded musicians who enjoy learning and carry their passion for guitar throughout their lives.

My approach to teaching Guitar focuses on strong technical foundations combined with creative expression through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I start with basic skills such as tuning, posture alignment, simple chords, and rhythm exercises before gradually introducing advanced techniques like barre chords, fingerstyle patterns, and scale improvisation.
Motivation helps students remain consistent and overcome difficulties with confidence. Communication ensures that lessons are clearly explained and practically demonstrated. Integrity guides my teaching standards, as I focus on building accurate rhythm control, smooth chord changes, and clean sound production.
I provide constructive feedback and encourage responsible practice habits. Creativity is integrated into every lesson through improvisation exercises and exploring various musical styles. Besides Guitar, I also teach music reading and ear training to enhance overall musical understanding.
