About Harper
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching and professional experience, dedicated to helping school and college students develop confidence, skill, and a deep love for music. I guide learners from their very first chords to performing complete songs with expression and accuracy.
Seeing students overcome challenges, build stage confidence, and perform successfully at school and college events has been one of the most rewarding milestones of my career.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as chord transitions, rhythm control, scale practice, finger techniques, and musical expression, while also encouraging creativity and personal style. My teaching approach is patient, structured, and motivating, ensuring students progress steadily while enjoying the learning journey.
I also help students develop smart practice routines and time management skills. My mission is to nurture disciplined, confident, and passionate guitarists who carry their love for music throughout life.

My Guitar teaching methodology blends discipline and creativity through Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I carefully design lessons that gradually build skill, confidence, and musical understanding. Motivation is maintained by encouraging consistent effort and celebrating each milestone achieved.
Communication is clear and respectful, ensuring students understand both practical techniques and theoretical concepts. I teach chord structures, rhythm accuracy, scale practice, and finger coordination in simple, manageable steps. Integrity is reflected in my commitment to teaching proper technique, maintaining high standards, and guiding students with honesty.
Creativity plays an important role in my classes, where students practise improvisation, compose short melodies, and explore different musical styles. In addition to Guitar, I also teach rhythm exercises, music theory, and stage confidence development for complete musical progress.
