About Claire
I’m a 180 LSAT scorer, former teacher, and legal professional who specializes in helping students understand the LSAT’s internal logic and build clear, reliable strategies.
My approach is supportive, personally tailored, and focused on improving the quality of your reasoning, not just your score. I have experience teaching students of different backgrounds and levels, with a specialty in training high scorers.
As a perfect scorer, I excel in assisting students diagnose what blind spots are holding them back from their last few points. Whether you're just getting started or trying to crack 170+, I’ll help you understand why the LSAT works the way it does and how to approach it with confidence.

Teaching Method:
I teach students how to understand the LSAT’s internal logic — the way arguments are built and the reasoning moves the test expects you to recognize. We will focus on how the test thinks so you can approach new questions with clarity.
My techniques adjust based on your level:
• For lower/mid scorers: we work on recognizing common reasoning structures, spotting assumptions, and building consistent habits for LR and RC.
• For higher scorers: we shift toward subtle logical distinctions, argument evaluation, and the kinds of inferences and phrasing patterns the LSAT uses to create trap answers.
• For anyone feeling stuck: I can help you create strategies for diagnosing why you are missing questions, where weaknesses exist on a more granular level, and explaining the reasoning in a way that finally clicks.
Most lessons involve working through real LSAT questions together and refining the reasoning you bring to them.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Our lessons will vary according to your level.
For all students, I will want to begin the lesson with what you believe your weaknesses are and go through some of your recent missed questions and your corresponding logic.
A sample lesson for beginners:
1. Review of your recent practice — what felt confusing, what improved, and what your missed questions reveal about your current approach.
2. Guided instruction — Building your foundation, answering questions, and providing tips.
3. Live question practice — we work through questions in real time and I coach you through the reasoning, phrasing, and decision-making the test requires.
4. Strategy — timing habits, how to annotate, which parts of the passage or stimulus matter, when to eliminate vs. when to predict.
5. Personalized homework — reviewing our notes, completing targeted drills from LawHub/Khan Academy, and practicing specific question types based on your error patterns.
A sample lesson for high scorers:
1. Brief check-in – what felt confusing this week, what improved, what stalled
2. Live question walkthroughs – you talk through your reasoning
3. Logic analysis – we unpack the underlying structure of the argument and the strategic decisions the test is pushing you toward. I walk you through the reasoning and the logic behind the test's answer
4. Error pattern identification – we look for consistent reasoning blind spots or misreads, and I assign homework for you to build an error tracker
5. Targeted skill reinforcement – phrasing cues, assumption types, inference structures, common tricks
I will build personalized notes and explanations as we go. Where helpful, I can provide training materials and assign drilling questions
All students must sign up for LawHub, and will benefit from having access to LawHub Advantage if possible.

I needed a tutor to help me review wrong answrrs and help me find patterns. They have wrong answer explanations online but I wasn’t putting together how to get the next one right like I didn’t know what I wasn’t seeing. I sent her my stuff in advance and she was always really well prepared and good at helping me find those patterns, how to approach different questions, what traps to look o it for, and how to stop rushing and focus on getting it right first. Now im doing timed the right way with a good foundation not just getting panicked thank you claire
Claire actually tutored me in person but I needed to come support and say she is SUCH a good tutor. Especially as someone who was already scoring pretty high but nowhere near my goal, it was really frustrating to not find many options for me to REALLY improve. It seems like most people only teach the basics and like tell you you’re doing great, good luck!! But Claire helped me with strategy that I never would have thought of and also helped me see what I was doing wrong, especially with my own review and studying. I did end up having blind spots about some basics, and she was also great for that. She helped me slow down to speed up if that makes sense. I took the January test and I feel way more confident about it than I was after November. My practice tests were consistently at like 173+ before I took it so yeah I’m hopeful!
Claire is a great teacher and got me through a long period of making no progress even though I was spending just as much time studying and drilling. She was really patient with me and helped me actually understand the stuff I’d read or learned about on other platforms but never really got. I’m already getting my goal score on my PTs. Just working on consistency now. Shes a great tutor
Claire knows everything. She is super thorough, and provided really personalized information and advice. I sort of want to gatekeep her lol but she’s amazing. Recommend!
Claire knows this test inside and out. With her extensive teaching and tutoring history and intimate knowledge of the test, she’s a knowledgeable and personable teacher and will go above and beyond to adjust her teaching to each student!
