About Carolyn
I have been a nurse for over a decade and a nurse practitioner for close to half a decade. I am a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with a specialization in acute care. I have worked with newborns in the newborn nursery area, pediatric liver and kidney transplant patients, pediatric general surgery and cardiology patients, and currently am working as a pediatric congenital heart surgery nurse practitioner.

When it comes to studying for nursing tests, the load of information to study can be overwhelming. As a kinesthetic learner, I had to figure out ways to remember a lot of information in the little time I had. Mnemonics, rhymes, doodles- you name it, I used it to help me study. I passed the NCLEX and Boards for nurse practitioner licensing because of the resources I used while studying. To this day, I use the tools I developed for studying in my practice.
