About Pedro
I worked as a teacher since 2009, in elementary school. Literacy, and contents of basic education in general (History, Geography, Sciences, Portuguese Language / Writing) are my specialties. I worked as an English teacher from 2011 to 2014, where I was able to go through all the segments, from kindergarten through high school. I also worked as a Pedagogue with formations in the period from 2015 to the current period. Today I work in the Education Department as a pedagogical agent taking care of schools that serve the modality of Youth and Adult Education.

I am Pedro Almeida, Pedagogue, (currently) Pedagogical Agent at the Education Department in the municipality of Belford Roxo and active in the organization of Youth and Adult Education (EJA). I'm studying Philosophy at UFRRJ. I have experience in the classroom with Elementary School, English, Philosophy, History, Geography and Sciences. My classes are usually dynamic and I try to use an interdisciplinary proposal when approaching the contents in order to seek their contextualization, as well as the construction of a web of knowledge. Dialectics plus interdisciplinary action are the perfect match for a successful class.
