I hold a degree from the University of Pretoria and am currently pursuing a second degree in BSc. This academic journey has given me a strong foundation in both the subjects I teach and effective learning strategies. My approach to private tutoring is centered around patience, understanding, and personalized attention. I focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. This helps foster a growth mindset and ensures students are motivated to learn.
The lessons I offer include:
- English: Reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar, and essay writing
- Math: Problem-solving, algebra, and other core concepts for primary school levels
- Special focus on students with learning challenges, offering additional support and strategies for success
I also provide assignments and resources for continued practice outside of lessons to reinforce learning.
