About Charlie
I have been working with kids for my entire career. I've had many wonderful and different opportunities to teach with encouraged me to think outside the box. Academically I led the student council at my high school and I was also part of club that tutored and mentored younger studens. Modeling healthy adult behavior like setting boundaries and having realistic expectations is important for youth to see.

I'm patient but creative, I know everyone thinks and processes differently. I think it's important to meet people where they're at and have supportive expectations. Learning also can be done anywhere, there's no reason to confine it all to a classroom! Inspiration and wonder are important parts to education. I think learning should be fun so it isn't something people dread. Lesson plans should be designed for you in mind.
