About Folakemi

Hello, I'm Folakemi, a dedicated educator and counseling psychologist with over seven years of professional teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Ibadan, which equips me with both strong instructional skills and a deep understanding of how students learn best.

I specialize in teaching Arithmetic through clear explanations, structured lessons, and supportive guidance tailored to each learner's pace and goals. My classes are engaging, patient, and results-focused, designed to build confidence as well as competence.

My goal is simple: to help every learner succeed academically while developing lasting confidence in their abilities.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and encouraging. I use clear explanations, guided practice, and interactive activities to help learners understand concepts deeply rather than memorize them. I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, pace, and goals, combining visual examples, real-life applications, questioning techniques, and continuous feedback. I

A typical lesson lasts 50–60 minutes. Shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the learner’s needs.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from University of Ibadan. I have 7 years of teaching experience, working with diverse learners and helping them improve academically and build confidence in their abilities.

My lessons are suitable for children in middle and upper primary classes.
