About Gandham
I am an MSc Molecular Biosciences student at the University of Bath with a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Chemistry. I have six months of experience tutoring students in Years 6 and 7, helping them understand Science concepts in a clear and structured way.
I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I break down difficult topics into simple explanations, use relevant examples, and encourage students to build confidence in their knowledge.
My goal is to help students strengthen their understanding of Science, improve their problem-solving skills, and enjoy learning. I am patient, approachable and committed to helping each student make steady progress.

My teaching approach is patient, structured, and focused on helping students understand concepts rather than simply memorising them. I break down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-follow explanations and use everyday examples to make learning more engaging. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and work through practice questions to build their confidence.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although the duration can be adjusted to suit the student's age, learning pace, and requirements. I usually begin by reviewing the previous topic, explain the new concepts step by step, work through examples, and finish with practice questions and a quick recap to check understanding.
