About Sophia
Hi! My name is Sophia, and I'm a college student pursuing my Associate of Science in Nursing with a passion for helping students gain confidence in their education. I understand that math can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make Algebra I easier to understand by breaking down concepts into simple, manageable steps.
I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their learning style and pace. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students feel comfortable asking questions while developing the confidence to solve problems independently.

I offer personalized Algebra I tutoring for $35 per hour or $17.50 for a 30-minute lesson. To help students and parents get started with confidence, I offer a complimentary 30-minute first lesson to discuss goals, identify areas of improvement, and create a personalized learning plan. My goal is to help students understand mathematical concepts, not just memorize formulas, while building confidence and improving academic performance.
