About Shreesti
Hi there! My name is Shreesti, and I am currently an 11th-grade student. I recently completed my 10th-grade ICSE board exams with excellent marks, so I understand firsthand what it takes to build strong focus, discipline, and academic dedication from a young age .Apart from my regular schoolwork, I am a highly competitive female chess player with a peak online rating of 1466. I have been selected multiple times in state-level tournaments to represent my state at the Nationals! My deep love for logical thinking, science, and astronomy is what drew me into competitive chess, and I love using that tournament-tested experience to make the board come alive for young minds. Children naturally connect with me incredibly well, and I specialize in coaching kids between 7 and 13 years old or someone who is so new to chess. I don't want to be a strict, boring tutor—instead, I want to be that supportive older sister (Didi) who makes learning a joyful adventure. Because I am close in age to my students, I know exactly how to keep them engaged, smiling, and motivated throughout our sessions as they grow from beginners into smart, strategic players!
