About Farrukh

About the lesson

Struggling with math does not mean you are “bad at math”, it just means no one has explained it to you in a way that makes sense yet. As a specialized math tutor, my goal is to turn confusion into confidence by breaking ideas down into clear, step‑by‑step explanations that match how you think and learn.

I focus on the math courses that cause students the most stress: Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus (high school, AP, and college), and Statistics (including AP Statistics and intro college stats). Whether you want to pass a class, boost a grade, or earn a 4–5 on an AP exam, lessons are always centered on your actual homework, tests, and syllabus so that every session immediately supports your real‑world goals.

During sessions, I start by asking a few quick questions so I can see exactly where things began to feel confusing. Then I rebuild the topic from the ground up:

Explaining concepts in plain language, with multiple examples

Working through practice problems together, then gradually shifting the work to you

Showing test‑taking strategies, calculator tips, and common “trick” questions

Creating a short, personalized “cheat sheet” of key ideas you can review between sessions
