About Vinosh
Hello, I'm Vinosh, a 1st year Medical student at UCL. I attended school at the Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School.
Having had tutors in Maths and Sciences has really boosted me to achieve what I have in my GCSE's and A levels. The skills gained from it has helped me to transfer this to my studies as well as my teaching methodology. Being a student myself, I am aware that students pick things up at different paces and thus I am patient, yet meticulous, in my approach to teaching.
In terms of my teaching experience, I have been involved in teaching younger students weekly at The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School (my former school) with a variety of subjects from GCSE's to A-Level, in particular Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I have also experienced teaching English for 2 weeks in several primary schools in Bali, where I have developed key communication skills as a tutor. As a Medical student, I have undertaken the vigorous admissions processes from universities and have helped students with admissions tests such as the UKCAT and BMAT.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and piano as well as cricket and hockey.
