About Maya

I’m a warm, reliable, and fun English tutor who truly enjoys working with young children. As a 55-year-old mom to a high schooler, I understand how important it is to create a safe, encouraging space where kids can grow and thrive. I’ve spent years helping my nieces, nephews, and other students develop strong reading and writing skills through play-based, engaging lessons. I’m patient, adaptable, and always focused on what works best for each individual child. Parents can count on me to be consistent, communicative, and 100% committed to helping their child succeed with confidence and joy.

About the lesson

I’m a patient, positive, and engaging English tutor who helps young children build strong reading and writing skills through fun, play-based learning. My sessions are personalized to each child’s pace and learning style, making lessons both effective and enjoyable.

Parents can feel confident knowing their child is in a supportive, structured environment that encourages growth, focus, and a love of learning. I know how to connect with kids, make learning enjoyable, and create a supportive space where they feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own speed.

I know Maya personally, and she is an absolutely amazing tutor. She has been teaching my child, and I’ve seen incredible improvement in both confidence and language skills. My child always looks forward to her lessons because Maya makes learning fun, patient, and engaging.

What I love most is how she adapts her teaching to each student’s pace and learning style. She is encouraging, supportive, and creates a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and practicing. She also communicates closely with parents, which makes the learning experience very personalized and effective.

I highly recommend Maya to anyone looking for an English tutor. She is knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely cares about helping her students succeed.
