About Maya
A* in French IGCSE, currently studying A-Level French at Durham School
18 Years of age, very understanding and still learning So i am fully aware of the difficulty of learning another language as a second speaker.
Received the Year 12 modern Languages (French) award last year at Durham School speech and prize-giving day
I employ very fun and creative methods of teaching and always ensure I put my very best into all that I do.
The main aspect of a language is learning to speak and understand so with me, I tend to really engage a child in more speaking an listening rather than only loads of grammar. I am extremely passionate about the French language as I have been learning it for 11 years now! French is such a beautiful language and with my experience, I would be well-suited to teach children aged 7-15 how amazing it is as well as prepare them for extremely important language exams
