About Trevor
I am very much a' REAL' person who does not just do what I want to do which is teaching for the money but for the passion and for the love. I love the idea of not only teaching but also uplifting who ever I come into contact with or teach. I believe that we will both learn from each other whether it be now or tomorrow or in the future. The preparation, perseverance and determination that goes into teaching you would be my ultimate first priority and goal. I am very much a good listener and empathetic soul who loves putting himself into the shoes of his student. Understanding them and their needs.
Over the past year of tutoring students, I have had many satisfied students. I love the looks on the young children faces that I do voluntary tutoring with teaching them how to read. When they see how magical it can be to actually learn how to read.

My methodology is a Natural approach, Communicative approach and Audio lingual method using lots of drilling and chorusing. I will use the method of first getting to know my student, what makes them tick as well as getting to know them on a personal teacher student level. The student could expect an exciting fun filled class / friendship with lots of task based learning and usage of gamification. I also believe in English as a Specific Purpose with the help of needs analysis questionnaires I would tailor make their lessons to suit them. The student would actually be getting much more of me as a mentor than what they would be paying for. I believe that without teachers we would have no lawyers, doctors, politicians etc. I strive to give more than I am expected as a teacher and a mentor.
