About Johanri
Hello, my name is Jo-hanri. I am 22 and grew up in small town in South Africa. I studied Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch, driven by my passion for understanding the human mind and behavior. To combine this passion with my love for teaching, I completed a TEFL certificate, focusing on teaching English as a foreign language.
English has always been a subject close to my heart—its ability to connect people from different cultures and backgrounds is something I find truly inspiring. While I may not have formal teaching experience, my background in psychology equips me with a deep understanding of how people learn and communicate. I am confident that my enthusiasm, patience, and commitment to helping others succeed make me an excellent tutor. I am eager to share my knowledge and support students on their journey to mastering English.

I believe that every student is unique, so I tailor my teaching approach to fit the individual learning styles of my students. I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and can teach in both languages. However, my primary focus is on helping non-native English speakers improve their language skills.
