About Kaitlyn
I have been studying Spanish for five years, and am aiming to major in Spanish this upcoming fall. Every week at my church, I volunteer to teach an ESL class with native Spanish speakers. Learning Spanish opens so many doors in life as well as in careers, and I hope to give students the opportunity to learn it.

Spanish
Providing a wide range of vocabulary is one of the keys to thoroughly learning a new language. Depending on the student's skill level, I offer a wide range from basic conversational vocabulary to slang terms. I also use music and will refer the student to specific film activities in order to enhance their understanding and comprehension of the language. Through my curriculum, I will also be touching on the tenses used in writing and speaking Spanish. There is a grand emphasis on speaking it during our tutor sessions once the student has advanced in order to become comfortable with speaking the language. The more practice, the better!
