About Bethany
Hi, my name is Bethany, I am 25 years old and live close to North Shields. I have recently relocated back home after living in South Korea since 1999 and Spain from 2014. I hold a bachelors with honours in International Relations, I am on track to obtaining my PGCE in secondary history this summer. I am thoroughly enjoying my current teaching placement at a school in Sunderland. I work hard to instil an appreciation for my subject and deepen understanding and knowledge through lessons which intrigue and engage my pupils. In addition, building relationships, especially since my placement school has a high percentage of students with complex behavioural, SEMH and SEND needs have been invaluable. I also have a solid grasp and enthusiasm for sociology, politics and English literature. I privately tutor a student for A level sociology, this has given me opportunity to broaden and deepen my expertise of the subject and related topics. Creating engaging and informative lessons which allow my students to reach their full potential on exam day and beyond is a priority. Ultimately, I am a hard working and empathic person who wished to make a positive impact on my the lives of my students. I look forward to working with you!
