About Harriert
As a passionate singing tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, I have guided 150–200 students through personalized vocal training designed to help them explore, strengthen, and celebrate their unique voice. I work with learners of all levels, from beginners discovering their vocal abilities to advanced students shaping their artistic identity. My commitment to personalized learning ensures that every session is tailored to individual needs, goals, and musical styles. My teaching covers essential vocal techniques such as breath control, range expansion, tone shaping, voice modulation, and pitch accuracy. Along with technical development, I emphasize musicality, emotional interpretation, and performance confidence—key elements that allow students to truly connect with their audience. I also help learners build a solid foundation in ear-training, rhythm literacy, and fundamental music theory. One of my unique strengths lies in creating a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves without fear of judgment. I incorporate creative warm-ups, genre exploration, and personalized practice routines that align with each student’s learning style. My teaching experience spans multiple genres including pop, classical, devotional, Western contemporary, and fusion, giving students the freedom to develop versatility and artistic depth. My mission as a tutor is to nurture voices with patience, technique, and inspiration. Picture yourself confidently performing your favorite song, hitting every note, and expressing emotion naturally through your voice. My teaching methodology, based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity (MCIC), helps students achieve both technical skill and artistic expression.
I focus on motivation, helping students set goals, celebrate milestones, and maintain consistent practice habits.
Communication provides a supportive, interactive environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and receive personalized feedback to refine tone, pitch, phrasing, breath control, and expression. Integrity ensures honest guidance, disciplined practice, and a professional, respectful learning space. Creativity encourages exploration of different musical styles, improvisation, and developing a unique voice.
I also teach music theory, rhythm, ear training, and stage presence to provide a holistic musical foundation. Lessons are tailored to the student’s skill level, goals, and interests, combining structured exercises, guided practice, and performance activities. This methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive performance, confidence, and stage presence while fostering a lifelong love for singing.
