About Richard
I am a 27-year-old student currently studying Education at Australian Catholic University. I have a passion for helping kids learn and grow, with a strong focus on how to help them understand the content they are being taught at school. I am an easy-going and approachable tutor who enjoys making learning less stressful and more enjoyable. I explain things in a clear, simple way that’s easy to understand, and I take the time to figure out the best approach for each student. My goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and motivated to achieve your best.

I believe it is essential to understand your students and the way they learn, as well as to build strong positive relationships not only with the students but their parents too. I use a range of techniques that are catered to the student's learning abilities in order to create the best outcomes.
The typical length of my lessons are 40 minutes, but I am happy to either shorten or extend that time depending on the student's needs.
Despite having no prior experience as a tutor, I have worked as a pre-service teacher in both supporting other colleagues in the classroom as well as teaching lessons. I have worked closely both with students who need support in understanding the material, and students who are looking to excel even further.
My lessons are typically for senior high school students, and in particular for those preparing for their art theory examinations. That being said, I would be thrilled to help any student with their exam preparation techniques, regardless of subject.
