About Sarah

I recently completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at UQ in 2025, and received a CSP from both USyd and UQ for postgraduate medicine in 2026. I have been a private tutor for over ten years, with English becoming one of my specialties. Having recently sat the exam multiple times I believe grants me accurate insight into the best preparation methods to help you achieve your best score too. Through a specific and dedicated preparation method I also managed to score in the top 10% for my MMI interview at UQ. I would be super excited to help you best learn to express yourself in a high scoring manner through sharing this method with you.

About the lesson

Section II of the GAMSAT is your opportunity to showcase how your unique psychosocial traits best equip you to reason, think critically, and express the product of this thought process in a logical, beautiful, and unique format... Essays. These skills ARE able to be developed and polished to turn you into a scoring machine - I am dedicated and super excited to deliver on that promise for you. Over three GAMSAT sittings (March and September 2023, March 2024), I progressively increased from 72 to 85 through meticulous study of ACER documents ("hidden" marking criteria ;), putting my own spin on Michael John Sunderland's 90+ GAMSAT strategies. I would be so excited to share my passion for this section with you and work together to transform your skills such that you can best express your considered and conscientious world view (and get you that Medicine offer of course!) In addition to theory lessons regarding essay structure and discussing content ideas, I also offer offline essay marking. I pride myself on giving rigorous written feedback (line by line) of your essays or essay plans. Interview preparation lessons would be similar; theoretical and content, balanced with live practice and feedback. I am more than happy to tailor this balance to best suit your needs.
