About Mahad
Welcome! I’m Mahad, I'm thrilled to work with you as your tutor. I'm a medical doctor and tutor, preparing for his USMLE pathway and I’m genuinely excited to help you make sense of medicine and the sciences behind it. Avid beekeeper, footballer and gamer.
My tutoring journey actually started while I was preparing for my own medical exams. I was later offered a tutor and mentor position at Apollo Buckingham Health Sciences Campus in the UK, where I taught medical students from around the world. I taught classes of 50+ students, delivered both in-person and online lessons, and was soon approached by pre-medical students at the university for one-to-one tutoring.
A lot of my tutoring was helping medical and pre-med students go over their day-to-day classes and lesson content, especially those topics that just weren't quite clicking. They'd come to me with something they couldn't get their head around, and we'd break it down together until it made sense.
With me, you can expect:
1. Deep subject knowledge: I’ll take the time to explain the "why", not just give you something to memorize.
2. A patient and approachable tutor: No question is too basic, and we can slow down or go deeper whenever you need.

I teach anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, biology and other medical sciences, with active recall and practice questions incorporated where appropriate.
