About Lillian
With over 2 years of teaching experience and a BM in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal), I teach guitar across Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass styles. My specialty is film scoring and video game music composition.
Students learn to create thematic ideas, atmospheric textures, and dynamic soundscapes. I integrate lessons with digital audio workstations (DAWs) for real-world media production.
I focus on student-centered learning, adapting lessons to youth and adult learners. We explore composition, improvisation, and creative recording techniques. Students gain hands-on experience designing music for cinematic and gaming contexts.

I teach guitar with a focus on lead playing, soloing, and improvisation. Lessons cover phrasing techniques, blues/rock bends, and expressive vibrato. I combine technical exercises with creative exploration to develop each student’s unique style.
Students practice scales, patterns, and melodic ideas for strong solo foundations. Improvisation exercises encourage experimentation and confidence. We explore note choice, dynamics, and timing to make solos compelling.
I work with learners of all ages, from jazz explorers to teenage rock enthusiasts. Lessons include ear training, stylistic analysis, and melodic development. Students leave ready to improvise and perform with creativity.
Each lesson balances technique, expression, and personal growth. Feedback is detailed and supportive. Together, we make lead playing fluent, musical, and fun.
