About Mae

I am a professional Flute tutor with 6 years of continuous teaching experience. I teach High School students, College students, and adults who want to learn flute for education, performance, or as a hobby. Till now, I have successfully guided around 300 students. My teaching philosophy is based on simple learning, strong practice, and positive encouragement. I believe that when students enjoy learning, their improvement becomes faster and more natural. I always keep my lessons easy to understand and well-organised. In my sessions, I teach proper breathing techniques, hand and finger positioning, sound quality control, rhythm practice, scales, and music reading. I also help students prepare for performances, competitions, and practical music exams. Many of my students have gained confidence to perform on stage at school and college functions. Some have also passed graded flute exams with good scores. I always motivate my students to stay regular in practice and believe in their abilities. My aim is to make flute learning enjoyable while helping students grow as confident and skilled musicians.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe that music learning should be enjoyable, disciplined, and meaningful. Every student is unique, so I begin by understanding their learning level, musical taste, and personal goals before planning the lessons. Motivation helps students stay focused and confident. I encourage them with positive words, simple targets, and regular appreciation. This makes students feel proud of their progress and enjoy their practice time. Communication is very important in flute learning. I explain every technique in simple words and also show it clearly through demonstration. Students learn correct breathing, finger placement, posture, tone quality, articulation, and rhythm step by step. I always listen carefully to their doubts and guide them patiently. Integrity means teaching with honesty and strong discipline. I focus on proper learning from the basics, such as scales, tuning, timing, and clean sound. I never rush the learning process and always encourage correct practice habits. Creativity brings life to music. I include expression practice, listening exercises, simple improvisation, and performance training. Along with flute, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm practice to help students grow as complete musicians.
