Teaching Approach & Methodology
I use an interactive, student-centered approach focused on deep understanding rather than memorization. In English, I build speaking confidence through conversational practice, vocabulary drills, and real-time grammar feedback. In Science and Research, I draw on my research background to break complex concepts into relatable, step-by-step insights.
Typical Lesson Structure
Warm-up (5 mins): Conversational check-in or quick recap to activate prior knowledge.
Core Instruction (15–20 mins): Targeted topic breakdown using visual aids, guided reading, or real-world examples.
Guided Practice (15 mins): Interactive exercises—sentence building, diagram analysis, or scientific problem-solving.
Wrap-up (5 mins): Key takeaways, constructive feedback, and goal setting for next time.
What Sets Me Apart
As a BS Biology student, award-winning regional STEM researcher, and former STEM Society President, I combine academic rigor with clear communication. I adapt to individual learning styles, making complex technical topics accessible while fostering strong critical thinking and English fluency.
