About Lakshmi
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
My own journey with English started back in my school days under the ICSE board, which is really where I fell in love with reading, writing, and fluent communication. That passion stuck with me....I went on to do my B.A. in English Literature from Amrita University, published my own book called "Fleeting Reveries," and now I’m diving deeper into the subject with my post-graduate studies .
Outside of my academics, I work as a content and technical writer. Because I spend my days working with words, I don’t view English as just a set of dry rules or textbook chapters. I see it as a practical skill. I know exactly how to structure an idea clearly, choose the right words, and build genuine confidence in expression.
Since I’m a student myself, I completely get how overwhelming school syllabi can feel sometimes. I love bringing a fresh, patient, and energetic vibe to my classes. I focus on being an approachable mentor who connects with students on their level, making them feel completely comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.

Let’s move away from "byhearting" and help your child actually understand and enjoy English.
I firmly believe that if a student understands the why behind a concept, they don't need to spend stressful hours mugging up text the night before an exam. My classes are entirely designed to replace rote memorization with clear logic, critical thinking, and genuine understanding.
Here is how we will approach the subject together:
Literature through Storytelling: Instead of just reading a chapter line-by-line and forcing them to memorize the back-answers, we treat chapters like stories. We break down the characters, the plot, and the real-life themes. Once a student truly connects with the story, they can effortlessly draft answers in their own words and still score full marks.
Grammar that doesn't hurt: Grammar shouldn't feel like a dry list of rules to memorize. I teach the structural logic behind how sentences are built, making tenses and parts of speech feel intuitive rather than confusing.
Building Independent Writers: I don’t give students readymade answers to copy down. Instead, I coach them on how to organize their thoughts, expand their vocabulary, and structure high-scoring answers completely on their own.
By keeping our online sessions highly interactive, friendly, and concept-focused, your child won't just get better at handling unseen passages, creative writing, and literature questions—they will develop the long-term confidence to read, think, and write beautifully on their own.
